Dan Naylor

Dan Naylor is a trainer, educator, and expert.  He is the owner and Principle Broker of Stone River Realty and President and owner of the Institute of Real Estate Education, both family businesses.  His passion for helping others succeed has led the Institute to become one of the top real estate schools in Utah.  He is honored to be nominated for the Board of Directors.

With over 15 years of experience in business management and real estate, Dan is active in his community.  He currently serves as chairman of the Education Committee at NWAOR, heading up events such as the Education Extravaganza, Top Producer Panels, and bringing in business and professional trainers for our agents.  Dan has a bead on current issues, and attends the Utah Real Estate Commission meetings regularly.

He has a Prelicensing Real Estate Instructor license, and teaches Continuing Education throughout the state. He currently teaches Fair Housing at NWAOR. He is one of the few licensed Broker Instructors in the entire state. He is a Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEITM) through the International Distance Education Certification Center (IDECC).

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts in Film from the University of Utah, has won awards for his short films, and his passion for film continues.  He enjoys acting and has appeared in various films and theatre over the last 20 years.

Dan organizes the SaltCON board game convention whose mission is to bring families together by playing games and interacting in a fun environment.  He manages the Ion Award Game Design Competition which brings designers and publishers together from all across the world to compete for this prestigious award.  He continues to volunteer at other conventions and events throughout the country.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children, exploring Utah’s natural wonders, and backpacking the Uintas. He also enjoys motorcycling and playing the guitar.

Kim Novak

I am passionate about being a REALTOR® and love all of the opportunity and reward, joy and angst, that only our (sometimes crazy) profession has to offer.

Three years ago (Oct 3, 2013), I left the comfort of my RE/MAX home of 17 years to open my own brokerage, Novak Advantage Real Estate. I created the tagline – At Home with Diversity®, Green, Proud to Have Served – to communicate the founding principles of my new company to the public. I am a Principal Broker, BSBA, ABR, AHWD, CRS, e-PRO, GREEN, GRI, MRP, SFR, SRES, but my NAR designations and certifications are much more than letters after my name; they represent both my professional and personal way of life. Additionally, I am proud to have served our country as an active duty member of the US Army.

As I celebrate my 20th year as a full-time, Northern Utah based REALTOR®, I promise to bring my experience in the field to the NWAOR Board of Directors as your voice from the field. As your representative, I will present every one of your comments, questions and concerns to the Board, and will be your advocate for those that are consistent with NAR, UAR and NWAOR Mission and Values. If elected, my goals are

1) to foster a forum for independent brokerages to network and grow,
2) to promote small group meetings and activities that improve membership involvement, and
3) to bring renewed awareness of our responsibilities to each other under NAR’s Pathways to Professionalism.

On a personal note, I have a wonderful life made especially so by my two sons, including my oldest’s new little family. They are at the heart of everything I do. Although I am not from Utah originally, I have called our beautiful state home since 1988 and have never grown tired of our mountains, the gorgeous sunrises & the majestic sunsets.

There are seven other nominees, all who will serve our association and its membership with exceptional commitment, skill and heart. My hope is to be one of those elected to serve. I’m grateful for this nomination and for your vote. Thank you.

Mandi Lee

Mandi Lee has been licensed for 14 years and in the industry for 16 years. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge in the real estate market.  Investing in real estate herself, she has grown a great appreciation and understanding for her clients and their needs.  She has specialized in investment, resale, new construction, and land transactions.  Mandi has received the International Diamond Society Award for Coldwell Banker 3 years in a row, and just recently received the President’s Circle Award for her success in the business.

Mandi has mentored several new agents as they have come into the business and is always willing in helping others achieve their real estate goals. Her belief is that by helping others, you create your own success.  She has been fortunate to form lifelong friendships with many colleges in the business and several of her clients. She is very passionate about her business and truly cares about the well being of others.

Mandi is an active member in the Ogden community.  When she is not working or volunteering, she is spending time with her husband of 7 years and their blended family of 4 children.  She also enjoys boating, traveling, skiing, and pickleballing.

Ron Snow

Ron Snow is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Metro where he leads three top producing real estate offices in Bountiful, Layton and South Ogden. Before getting into the real estate industry, he worked for Smith’s Food & Drug for 11 years as the point of sale director.

He was introduced into the industry by investing in new construction spec homes. His passion for the industry drove him to become a Realtor® in 2002. He strived to raise the level of professionalism in the real estate community by encouraging and facilitating high-producing realtors that give back and contribute to the profession.

Ron Snow is a regular contributor to Children’s Miracle Network and RPAC. Currently, he is sitting on the Board of Directors for the Northern Wasatch Association of Realtors. He was “Broker/Owner of the Year” for the RE/MAX Mountain States Region 2008 and “Outstanding Brokerage of the Year” for the RE/MAX Mountain States Region 2010. Just recently, RE/MAX Metro was also recognized by the RE/MAX Mountain States Region 2015 for the “Total Volume Achievement Award” in closing more than $393 million.

In his spare time, Ron enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys working on vintage cars, riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting. You may not know that Ron really savors a delicious strawberry milkshake.

Mike Bowman

I am grateful for the nomination and opportunity to serve the NWAOR on the Board of Directors.   I am an Ogden native and father of 4.  I enjoy trail running, mt. biking, and I think Northern Utah is an amazing place to live.

I started my Real Estate Career with Century 21 Adair Realtors in 2002 while pursuing an Engineering degree at Weber State University.  I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering in 2003.  At that point, I decided to continue my career in Real Estate because I saw greater potential, and truly enjoyed working  with people.  In 2007 I became a Principal Broker and opened my own Brokerage, Realtylink.  I recently joined Realtypath as a Branch broker and enjoy being part of an amazing team.

In my 14 years of being an Agent, Principal Broker or Branch Broker I have met so many awesome people in this industry and have learned so many great things from them.  I feel like I am at a point in my career where I have the knowledge, time, and experience to return the favor and serve our industry.  Being on the Board of Directors is a great way for me to do this.  With my experience of being a leader as a Broker, my work ethic, education, and knowledge of the industry, I would be well suited for the challenge.  I have a strong desire to keep this industry great, and I would be honored to serve you and our Association.

Having never served on the Board of Directors before, I will work hard to be the voice that brings new ideas, experiences and perspective to our Board.  Fresh ideas will help the Board stay current and to continually improve.   I will work hard to be a representative for the members, and do what I can to insure the future of our industry and Association.

Stephanie Dickson

Stephanie Dickson has been a licensed Real Estate agent with EXIT Realty for 10 years.  Stephanie is one of the friendliest, most hardworking, and honest professionals you’ll ever meet.   She has built her business from Door knocking and referrals.  Stephanie believes that life is what we make it and that thoughts are things so be careful what you wish for.

Stephanie has served on the Women’s Council of Realtors for the last 2 years where she has volunteered her time in the WCR’s annual 5K race to support fellow Realtors in need. Stephanie was also given the honor of receiving the Women’s Council AGENT OF THE YEAR award in 2015. Stephanie has also received the AGENT OF THE YEAR award from EXIT Realty Success in 2014 and the Nasby Knuckles award in 2009.

Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband Juston and their 2 boys, Travis and Trent. Together they enjoy attending the boy’s football and baseball games and cheering them on. Stephanie and her family also enjoy taking trips to the sunny Caribbean, fishing, and relaxing around the house. Stephanie’s friends and family know her to be determined, persevering, and always striving to achieve her goals.

Stephanie is looking forward to the opportunity of serving on the Board of Directors when she is elected.

Tommy Webber

Tommy Webber is a Co-Owner and Associate Broker at ERA Skyline Real Estate. A third generation Realtor, Tommy is personally responsible for and closely involved in the day-to-day operation of each aspect of the business. He takes great pride in his affiliation with the ERA organization and the opportunity to carry on the family tradition of real estate excellence. He works hard to represent each client and property with personal responsibility, deep commitment, high energy, and exceptional service.

Tommy is a National Real Estate Coach for Jared James Enterprises.  He is a member of the National, State, and Local Association of Realtors. He attended Weber State University, is a charter member of the ERA Young Leader’s Network, and currently sits on the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College Employer Advisory Team.

He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. He speaks Portuguese and has a love for the country of Brazil and its culture. He and his wife, Annie, have 3 children.
